My house is thrashed.
My new housemate and some of the remaining ones have spent the past couple nights in a drunken stupor and since I work graveyard I am only witness to the aftermath of this.
We have a small apartment downstairs in the garage which I am seriously considering moving into. It is more expensive but I am not sure if I can deal with the house being this thrashed. I am actually pissed off by this situation because it seems like I was lied to when I moved in. I am good friends with everyone who lives here but they told me that they were a lot cleaner than this and anytime I had come over to the house before they said a majority of the mess was from the housemate who has now moved out. I am not seeing too much of a difference.
Slowly but surely I am becoming a hermit in my room which is clean because the rest of the house is not. Looks like I am going to have to have a talk with the housemates and see if we cannot work something out. I mean how hard is is to do a damn dish or put something in the garbage!

i SO totaly understand what your going threw finding good rom mates that arnt slobs is hard.....the last place i was at sucked bad...i hope you can find a middle groud with your friends.....much hugs

Living with slobbish roommate is horrific. Usually it helps if there is a system of chores worked out. For instance, one person to take out the trash everyday, and another person to do the vacuuming, one person to do the dishes, and rotate the chores every week, etc.
