So I have spent the past 10 hours in and out of Planned Parenthood and SF General, I have yet to go to sleep since I got off of work this morning at 9am and have now been up for 26 hours. Why do you ask?
I started having severe abdominal pain last night and thought it was an allergic reaction to the birth control patch, after running a bunch of tests they said that was not the case and they were going to send me to SF General. So I show up there and I wait, and wait, and wait, and then guess what? wait some more. I was finally seen and after running more tests they diagnosed me with shingles! If you don't know, shingles is like the adult version of chicken pox only incredibly painful and you only break out where the pain is (in my case, my lower abdimon). Thankfully this is NOT contaigous or my housemates would kill me but I feel so incredibly yucky right now and it hurts to even lightly touch my lower stomach.
