Goodness! Am I ever overdue for an update!
And so I am finally done classes! After ten years of year-round post secondary education, I finally get to sleep 8 hours, every night, as opposed to 4 I feel all delirious and happy like Im on drugs! Terrible what chronic sleep deprivation will do to someone! Anyway, I come out with new goals: 1. Get myself in shape (I could lose 100lbs from all those crazy school days), 2. Establish a cool circle of friends (10 years of never having time doesnt make for a good social life hence why Im so awkward) and 3. Pay off my school debt. (Ouch! You have no idea!)
Anyway, in preparation for my internship, I went to SoCal this weekend in search of an apartment. Itll be hard being so far away from Mere for a year, but we dont have a choice :-S And well, the weekend sucked balls, for various reasons including not finding a good place, intense traffic both ways (coming back I saw two people blow out their tires within three cars in front of me. And otherwise some 40 accidents on the side of the road Scarry!) and a long and intense intake at my new job, which included blood draws, drug tests, etc. etc.
But what made it all worth it, was brunch with Rambo. *chuckles* I wish! *more chuckes* No wait!!! *pinches self* OMG!!!!! *shriek* I DID HAVE BRUNCH WITH RAMBO!!!!! WOOOOOOO!!!!
And let me tell you guys, she is EVEN MORE beautiful in person, sweeter than candy and is nothing short of a riot!!! We went to Malo where I had the best Pozole ever (though it could have been the company) and had the best time ever! For some reason, we couldnt get the check to get out, and despite probably being bored to death (which she didnt show one bit!) she was immeasurably patient and wonderful! I just wish I could have been better company myself. I still cant believe that she took over two hours, out of her super busy schedule, to meet with me. I am just swept away!
After getting home, I rewatched Kill Bill, since she likes the movie so much, and I thought so little of it and totally gained a new appreciation for it. Im not sure if its because I was in a bad mood when I first saw it, or if its because of the fan effect (Id like anything she likes cause Im a fan), but heck, I might even watch it again before the end of the week.
Oh! And given her dream is to visit Barcelona, I wonder if we Id have any takers if I started a send Rambo to Barcelona fund? She absolutely needs to go!
