I thought I was done with them but it’s been a stressful week at my vanilla job. Do you get panic attacks? Does yours cause strange things to happen? I have had an array of different…bodily effects from panic attacks. Today my hands and legs went numb and it caused some hyperventilation. Not fun.
I’m tired but I think I’m going to try and do some light exercises to maybe work some serotonin out of my body 🫠 and then maybe eat some soup. 💔 What’s your recovery for bad mental health days?

Learning how to compartmentalize has helped big time. Mine is related to some PTSD from a pretty big trauma in my past. You can get through it, Trilla! We all adore you and are here for you if you need us. 😘

Haven't had one in a long time. Last time I was driving and thought I was having a heart attack, almost passed out. Pulled over, then kept going, got home and had someone drive me to the hospital so I could make sure I'm okay. Doctor did all the things, EKG, chest x-ray, etc. I was "healthy." They told me it was probably a panic attack. I've been trying to meditate daily, and just practice concepts of mindfulness in general. Paying attention to my moods, realizing how emotions work and teaching myself new ones, all of that has helped. I read the book How Emotions are Made and it changed the way I approach trying to change behavioral patterns when it comes to emotional reactions. I hope you are feeling completely better and this panic attack was just a random fluke and you have no more! Thanks for sharing!!
