I loved to death having purple and pink hair. It's def a society study if you do soemthing drastic to your hair. I only had about 2 unpleasant encounters and the rest were so fun.
When I moved to FL it;s a small lil area I wouldnt call it sleepy since it's right next to a tourist area, but it was def different.
Walking through the stores and all the little girls staring at me. My two fav moments were
a girl and her mom walking past and she goes "I want pink hair!" and her mom goes "what did you say!!!" the sound of her voice was so horrified lmao!!
the second was a girl and her mom and I didnt really pay them any mind at first I heard the girl say mom look at her hair thats so cool etc..her mom just smiled and then as we passed she goes "is that a wig or is it real"and I had to turn back and say "its real" with a smile it was too cute. The mom looked a tad embarrassed but happy.
Its gonna be different going back to a more "normal" / natural color. I did a vote/poll thing on fb for my friend for dark burgundy or black (my natural) I got 12 for the burgundy and 5 for the black. I will probably end up doing the burgundy just cause thats the color I have on hand at the moment but I will have to go back to black so I dont have to worry about the money Id spend on fixing my hair. specially when the roots come in like they are now
