I'm about to head to bed because I just remember I picked up an extra shift tomorrow since I am so broke, and thus have to work 13hrs. Bleh. It was a good week. The only part that sucked was John getting drunk (again) and letting his cat escape (again) except this time he brought fleas in the house when he came back. Awesome. My kitty got them and is now rather pissed at me for putting the flea medicine and collar on him. I went ahead and treated his cat too since All the flea meds came in a 4month supply and I will, thankfully, be done with all this shit when I move in a month.
Anyway, back to the good. Wednesday was my friend Jeni's bday so we had a yummy dinner at The Blue Danube. I didn't have much money for presents, so I got her some small things she wanted, and made her a pretty damn nice hair clip. The pic doesn't do it justice, but everyone loved it so much that they offered to help me set up an etsy store if I made more.
I love crafting and every now and then I really do make something great so I think I'm going to go for it. With the shitty summer schedule, I have some spare time to get it started.
Friday I did absolutely nothing for the first time in a long time. Friday is my normal day off but usually I still volunteer, clean, or have some sort of running around to do. This Friday I caught up on my netflix and slept off and on damn near all day.
My reviews: The Reader = great, Fanboys = cute but not as funny as I hoped, Yes Man = hoped this would be reminiscent of Liar Liar but it just wasn't very funny. Next up is Vicky Christina Barcelona, Boy A, and the new Friday the 13th.
Yesterday Doni and I were supposed to continue our summer of concerts with the 1/2 price tickets we scored for Gavin DeGraw/ Collective Soul. It would not stop pouring though and we knew we would end up spending money on drinks, so we sold our tickets to a scalper and played Wii all night. I love House of the Dead and Mario Kart like whoa.
Today, Doni and I checked out the Good Guys car show. I got my 1st sunburn of the year because my albino ass forgot sunscreen. Oops. Farmer tans are sexy on chics, right? Here are a few of my fave cars:
I'm not gonna lie, I really just picked the Camaro because of the color haha. And the last one just had such a kickass paint job. I had to get a close-up of the skulls in it. This is the one that is going to end up on my boobies lol. (I have or plan on getting a tattoo for my family that is close to me. My dad's fave car that he always talked about when I was growing up was a 55 Chevy so I want it, surrounded by my moms fave rose as a chest piece.)
So yes, I have had fun. The trip to Buffalo wasn't so fun because I was sharing the room with another one of Doni's friends who turned out to be an alcoholic asshole, but the show was awesome. Our Lady Peace still rocks. And the opening band, Inward Eye, totally won me over. I took a couple pics of them since they were rather good looking little English style punk guys as well.
Hope everyone had a fun weekend as well. It is past my bedtime, good night darlings.

Yeah, winning on my birthday was fun. Did you think the answer was the Netherlands? Everyone I've asked would have gone with something else.
I think that was the first time I've ever lost money at a casino. Usually I come out on top.
