Hunter S. Thompson has commited suicide, I can only speculate as to why he did it, but knowing his distrust for governments and power in general(both justified) it's no wonder. I am saddened by the loss of a great man, but i believe that suicide is a right all people have, you have to respect the dedication and follow-through. I'm sure he's happier now, that is unless this is just a cover-up, and the government really killed him for a story he was about to publish. who knows?
