The art that I see here on your page made me think of "The Sketchbook Project". Are you familiar? You should totally do it! What a cool thing to have in your legacy, or so I've always thought. It's on my bucket list. SKETCHBOOKPROJECT.COM
Hope all is well with you. Things are well here. Thanks for all your kind thoughts and words
Thank you for the follow love :)
1. Bicycle trailer naps for my youngest 2. Loud music time 3. Moonrise over the mountains.
1.return of the season of light 2. 5 year old snowboarding 3. Friends who are easy to be around
This is a weird one and I wish I had time to PM you to explain 1. At 44yrs feeling like I know what it means to be and act like a man for the first time (two times I can think of in my life events conspired in such a complicated way to end up at a profound outcome, anyhow this time you were one of the many catalysts) 2. The luxury of the complexity of family 3. A cup of coffee while I am up too early with my son who has a streetlight that I just found out shines in his eyes in the wee hours
1. Lifting heavy weights (heavy for me) 2. Slow cooked chicken 3. Hot sauna
1. Salmon with butter and lime 2. Having two good longtime friends (the kind who I could show up on their doorstep broke and they would let me stay forever if it took me that long to get on my feet) 3. Being on the "able to cope" side of life's stresses
Hope you are well 1. Down jackets 2. Getting the kids outside 3. The ease of pasta for dinner.
1. The thought of what you are cooking 2. Fantasizing about eating with your family instead of my wife's (she is at work and I can't get shitfaced b/c I have to drive) 3. Getting comfortable with chaos not in a resigned way but an understanding that it will always be part of life and flowing through it is so much more pleasant than resisting. I owe you a message but I need to figure out how to articulate what I want to say. Happy Thanksgiving
1. Getting rid of old burdens 2. hope for moving forward without accumulating more 3. that weird freedom that sometimes gets buried in all the responsibility of being an adult and getting to make choices
1.) time to weight train in the garage 2.) organization overtaking chaos 3.) my son asking to have a special date to explore the forest by his school
Hope you are well. 1.) discovering that the reason biking with my son in the bike trailer was so f'ing hard wasn't all due to me being an old assed out of shape geezer but was in part because I had my wheel a little cockeyed and the brakes were rubbing the whole ride 2.) the sun sparkling through the hoar frost as it blows off the trees 3.) babysitters (for making free time, not for perving on)
1. Wood fired sauna when it is 9F outside 2. Chicken curry 3. Homemade chai tea
1. Comic books (including comic adaptations of Taoist classics by Tsai Chih Chung) 2. Bicycles 3. Experience driving on snow and ice Happy belated birthday. I hope 41 is an epic year
I'm stressing about jobs for you. I hope it is going well.
1. The way snow makes the world seem so peaceful 2. The spontaneous joy kids exude 3. Chinese take away (pork steam buns!)
Hope all is well with you. All the walks in nature make it seem like your soul is heavy. @voltaire posted a rad pic of her mediating on a cliff with a waterfall out in the gorge. 1. Getting into the mountains with the kids and having it be totally clear up there while it was socked in with dense fog in town 2. starting to feel fit after a year and a half of working out. 3. Having great kids

1,2,3: That feeling after yoga/meditation that if I only had the time to take care of myself and spend 15 mins away deeply relaxed I could probably get off meds (maybe when the kids are in school I can consistently do self-care). Hope all is well in the pac NW
1. that weird thing that happens sometimes when you treat someone like a human being on the other end of a phone call (introduce yourself by name, use their name to address them, ask how they are or how their day is going before making demands of them) 2. Getting up before the kids (even if I didn't get 1/10th of the things done I needed to) 3. the season of fungus (even if we don't grow psilocybin 'shrooms here like they do down there, although my neighbor insists he has had them up here - I've never actually done hallucinogens, but I read some Terence McKenna)
