Well, about the party I had been planning on going to...
When I was leaving work on Friday I threw a CEL (check engine light). With these cars, when that happens it actually means something. Went to Autozone to have them pull error codes. P1325. Same error code I have seen before and it dealt with the ignition system. Last time it was a spark plug wire that was loose. This time, I had decided to change the spark plug wires. Bam! Fixed. Saturday proved to be a little different.
On Saturday I had done a little poking around under the dashboard to figure out why my keyless entry wasn't working. (Hasn't since I've owned the car.) Ended up finding a plug that wasn't plugged in. Plug in. Proceed to program remote. Bam! Keyless works. On to cruise control. (Necessary for such a long trip to Charlotte.) Found out that there was a little plug missing on the clutch pedal. Fixed. Bam! Cruise works. Now here is where things got interesting.
I had found a connection that should have been connected, or so I thought. When I turned on the car after connecting the plug, my CEL was flashing. I remember reading something about that. I'm thinking it has to do with the catalytic converter and an inefficient temperature. If that was occurring so quickly after a test drive then something is wrong. I didn't want to drive to Charlotte with a CEL flashing in my face the whole time thinking that something might blow up. The other car would have been even riskier to take to Charlotte. Damn. By the time I had figured out the issue, it would have been really, REALLY late (Sunday morning late) by the time I arrived in Charlotte. Here is where it's funny/painful. The plug that had been plugged in last did not need to be connected. It was for diagnostic purposes ONLY! Talk about feeling like shit.
That's my reason for not making it out to the party guys and girls. I'm sorry.
I will definitely make it up to you guys somehow.
Now that I hope you guys are less upset, here is a picture after I had done a little bit of rallycross practicing:

Here is something that I will be putting on sometime this week:

I can't wait!
Take it easy everyone!
