We rented a house on the beach this week, or should I say try too. We get down Saturday, enjoy sunday, it gets a little cloudy on Monday with a little breeze.
Then they mandatorily evacuate the island due to that little thing called Hurricane Ophelia.

I have to know, Where the hell is Wake Forest?! I'm originally from outside of Pinehurst, I have a friend who lived in Lenore, outside of Asheville and we have wondered for quite some time where the town and school is. I know Charlotte, Raleigh, Chapel Hill, Durham, Greensboro even Kitty Hawk and Kill Devil Hills. Where the hell is Wake Forest? Could you shed some light?

Wake forest is north of Raleigh and West of Durham.
If you follow US-1 (Capital Blvd) out of Raleigh you'll hit Wake Forest on any map.
The college however, much to my surprise, is in Winston-Salem I believe. It moved out of here in 1959 if I remember the sign I found right. The former campus is now a Baptist Seminary. We've only lived here a few years now.
