I've been terrible about blogs and being active on the site. I actually think I've made the decision to not renew my membership. Finally for real this time. A) I can't really afford extra expenses. B) I'm certainly done being a Hopeful (removed my Hopeful status and sets months ago). C) I'm not super crazy about the new site like a lot of people are. Call me old fashioned. I miss the old site. I miss chat. I miss... Just the old ways of the site I guess.
But until my membership ends, I'll be around when I have time if you wanna get in touch. A ton of you have my contact info outside of here or at least my Instagram (zombie_kitty) so you can say hello if you feel the need there as well. :)
As far as what's been up with me... Just life! Loving Northern Idaho for the most part. I'm adjusting to the small town mentality... And the snow. It's quiet and nice. We live like 6 blocks from the lake and I've been walking there a ton and working out there and such. I started a new workout program that involves using Mother Nature as my gym and I've never felt more motivated to get fit! The wedding is in June so ya know... Gotta get in mad shape. ;)
I haven't made any friends here yet though and that kinda sucks. But that should be changing soon because....
I HAVE A JOB INTERVIEW TOMORROW!! It's for a pretty great position and I really really want it. I am notorious for nailing my interviews and not that I'm trying to be cocky, I am crazy confident about my chances for swooping up this job.
Other than all that, the girls (my future step daughters)keep me busy and they are such a blast to be around. I can't even describe it. They are the best.
Also wedding planning has kept me busy. Jesse and I decided to have the wedding in CA at my mom's house where her and my step dad got married. :) I think there is good juju there. Also, I was originally going to have my 2 beat friends both as my maids of honor because I couldn't choose. But one of them has been a rotten bitch all of a sudden who needs to get her priorities straight so I had to de-crown her. I know that sounds kind of bride-zilla-ish but the situation is more complicated than I'm making it sound. Cliffs Notes version is that she asked me to change the date of my wedding because it's scheduled for the same weekend as EDC. And when I told her I absolutely would not be changing the date because we had to accommodate our family and line it up with Jesse's summer custody time for the girls, she basically acted like I was the asshole. That's the way short version. Anyways, I don't have time for drama so I told her not to worry about it and just go to EDC. So that sucked but it's whatever. Weddings are stressful enough without someone guilt tripping me because they want to go to Vegas and Molly out of their brain the same weekend as my wedding. Lol So there's that.
Other than that, life has been mellow. Been on a lot of hikes and explorations of my new town. Hope all is well guys and dolls! Like I said, if one day I'm gone on here cuz my membership is toast, you can find me on Instagram (username above in blog).
