Fun at the fair...

I went to the California State Fair today and I have the photos to share to prove it!
(I finally went through my hard drive and deleted about 600 pictures.... I still have more to delete. BUT I actually have some space for new pictures now! YAY!)

SO, yes! I took Jesse to his first California State Fair. Some of you may remember he's not from CA. He moved here from Seattle last December. And he's actually originally from Idaho. So this is his first Cali summer. The heat has been a bit of a shock to him, though he won't admit it to most people. lol

Anyway, my mom gave me a couple free passes to the fair and a parking pass and food vouchers which made our trip virtually FREE! Which these days is about the only way I can do anything fun. Haha! But we really had a lot of fun people watching, and feeding animals, and eating food, and listening to shitty music, and getting high... Haha! Good fuckin times.

I honestly didn't take that many pictures. I have more on my camera that I haven't uploaded to my computer yet. But I have the pics from my phone. ... Which I will share with you NOW:

We saw bunches of chickens and this goofy little guy...

After about 3 hours of walking around, we found a nice shady area on the grass and laid down and just relaxed...


then I had fun taking pictures in the reflection of his Oakleys... (what a freaking DORK)

That's about it! I have some pictures of exotic birds from a cool exhibit on my camera. I'll upload those and show you soon...

OH!! We also went on one of my old fashioned nature adventures together and I took some good pictures of pretty things to show you guys like old times! But the other day I spent like an hour typing the blog and uploading the photos and then all of a sudden my internet window closed and I lost it all. I was so frustrated so I just gave up. LOL But I'll share it soon!

I really don't wanna jinx it, but needless to say, things are going pretty well with Jesse. It's kinda sad, but I'm not getting my hopes up too high. I don't know if I can handle another major heartbreak. So, I'm just taking it for what it is and enjoying the time I spend with him and trying to not expect too much out of it. He is sweet to me and we have great fun when we actually get to hang out. That's good for now! Call it pathetic if you want, but it's what I need to do to protect my little heart.


Not much else to report on I guess. Work is same. Money is still the bane of my existence, or rather LACK OF. Living with my dad still sucks terribly. Friends are still being pretty flakey. I'm still kinda depressed and anxious as all hell.

But I guess I'm alright. I'm not like on the verge of suicide or anything anymore so that's good. I just really am kinda tired of waiting for things to get better. And I'm starting to get pretty exhausted from making a conscious effort to MAKE things better and failing. But it's whatever I guess. Shit can't suck forever right?! I promise I'm trying to stay positive!

Well, I think I'll watch Pineapple Express while I scroll through and catch up on some of your blogs and then make an attempt at sleeping! Hope you all are doing well and I hope this blog was better than my last few!
