So I said I need more random blogs in my life so I am making it happen!
Well, yesterday was Easter.
I did the usual family lunch thing which was pretty damn boring, no lie. Haha! Luckily, my handsome boyfriend didn't have any plans since his whole family is in Idaho. So, he and I packed some munchies, grabbed the RC car and headed to the lake. It was about 65 degrees and beautiful out, so it was a perfect day for it! He had never been to the lake out here since he just moved here in December so it was as good a day as any to take him and show him where I spent a lot of my childhood: Folsom Lake

We're such dorks about the RC car but it is SOOOO FUN! It goes like 45 MPH and he's getting a new one that goes 65 MPH..... CRAZY RIGHT?!?!
Speaking of the RC, we are going to an RC competition in Reno this upcoming weekend with his roommate Josh. Josh is being sponsored by a local company to compete at this deal in Reno and so we all decided to make it a trip. I'm sooooo stoked! Not really for the competition (though, I'm sure that'll be fun) but just to get out of town for a weekend with my man and the guys and just be somewhere other than home for a couple days.
In other news, yesterday while I was at my mama's for Easter, I used her computer to completely revamp my resume. It looks pretty fuckin baller now, no lie. LOL But I made sure it was all perfect and then i applied for about 20 different office jobs on craigslist. I had originally sworn off office jobs last year but let's face it, that's where the money is at right now. not to mention the benefits! So I'm am PRAYING that I get a bite on at least one of the applications I sent and SOON. My goal is to find a full time office position within the next 2 months, thus ensuring that I will have my own place by Christmas. Please oh please oh please, universe. I have been so kind and good to others, please reward me! lol Well, keep your fingers crossed for me.
Well, I had to miss that photo shoot I had been looking forward to so much.
Yes, I literally cried. There was just no way for me to get out of work that day and my boss straight up told me that if I couldn't make it to work for my shift, she would accept my resignation. .... Yeah. So, obviously, I sucked it up and went to work. Another opportunity lost. It's ok though, it won't be the last opportunity that comes my way I'm sure.
On the topic of photo shoots, I have about 5 lined up! Haha! Nothing major. No ads like this last chance I had. but opportunities to build on my portfolio and work with some new people. It should be fun! I've been really eager to shoot something new and I've been workin out and stuff and been feeling pretty good about this old bod of mine. So, hopefully soon I'll have some professional shots to share with you guys and get your opinion on. Yay on that!
Ok, I can't stop loving this video right here. It makes me smile! Love the song and I love when dudes be shufflin! Haha! Plus, I super dig the editing job on this video:
Well, I'm off like a herd of turtles!!! Time to paint my toes and find a good movie to pass out to. It sounds like tomorrow if gonna be a fun-filled day of shooting guns and fishing and RC madness, so hopefully I will have a fun update for you!

My buddies are trying to get me to update my RC car. They have been building dirt tracks behind their barns and racing their cars. Too many hobbies.
