When Brando and I took a little 6 month break from each other, I remember sitting on the floor of my bathroom- mascara tears streaming down my face and into my eyes, little streams of hot blood trickling down my thighs, razor blade in hand. I felt empty and in utter despair. I was alone. I had no one. No friends to rush to my side, no shoulder to cry on. Just alone with a wrenching feeling in my gut. I played 3 Libras a thousand times on repeat and felt it and sang along as long at the lump in my throat would allow. Numbly, I watched the blood drip off my legs and into the carpet. There was something terribly calming about it, though my insides were torn to shreds in addition to my skin. I felt the lyrics coast over my body and I closed my eyes and much like the blood, I sank into the carpet .

And even after all that, as morbid as it may be, every time I hear this song, I go back to that time in my life. I feel the same emotions rush through my body and I feel alive. I feel like I have come a long way from that moment in time and it feels good to be here. I get tingles all over my body and overwhelmed with happiness.
