I've been chillin' to Beck's Mutations album. It has a mellow, Taos kinda buzz to it.
I've been having fun with that Mighty Quinn song...Dylan, Dead, Phish, Kristofferson, Manfred Mann, etc.
It's about boats, Eskimos, and pigeons, basically.
Boats, Eskimos, and pigeons aside, my foray into different artists performing Dylan's "Quinn the Eskimo" has ultimately lead to a greater appreciation of Julie London; she's like something I've heard on GLT (our local NPR: news, blues, and all that jazz) and really dug, but couldn't remember the song's name (let alone who sang it).
[my friend]: everybody is going to jump for joy!
[me]and, for that eternal instant, there will be less pressure on the Earth.
