Time for a small update...
I left my job today. It was somewhat emotional; I didn't realize how much a few of my coworkers thought of me. Apparently I did a little more than I had thought. Now, after a great Indian meal and the coffee shop, I'm very, very tired. It seems to be a cathartic kind of thing, like, "wow, I made it. And I get to STOP for a minute???? *sigh of relief*"
Major kudos to the lovely CarrotJuice for introducing us to Denise's Ice Cream! Yum yum! More kudos to her for being one of the coolest people we've run into in quite some time.
Bento was fun; not quite as good as some of the others due to a massive crowd of frat types. Those kids bother me. It didn't ruin a good time though. RedViolet certainly got some good kicks in on them from the patio! Another wonderful conversation was had with burnbright.
Tomorrow it's supposed to rain, so I think maybe I'll just stick around the house and get some long-waiting projects done. I've finally come up with an economical AND effective way to display my stamps, so I think I'll start on that. Japan comes first! Maybe my inner child will enjoy a Lego session too.

Spence and I can talk about facials, shoe shopping, and our new rugs. Oh the joy!
