I just can't contain it anymore... BENTO WAS A FUCKING BLAST!!!! Woo hoo!!!! I'll elaborate later as I must get dinner on for streetspirit now....
And dinner is done (has been for a while, it being 12:30 LOL)
Bento was the best social gathering I've been to in ages! My friends list has almost doubled in size (thanks all of you newcomers; welcome aboard!). I even have some GUY FRIENDS to hang with! The chicks in my life rock, don't get me wrong. But my friends in town have been all women these past two years. I need testosterone!
I also got impressed with a new pet yesterday. I wanted a turtle, but someone bought him (grrrr). About 20 minutes after that, a very distraught woman came in with a Wal-Mart bag and a jar. She told me these were her suddenly-ex boyfriend's pets and she HAD to get rid of them, she didn't care how. But she wanted to be sure they were taken care of. I saw the jar had a fish in it, but the other bag contained some sort of reptile. When I realized this, I ripped the plastic open and a chilly water dragon jumped right onto my chest. This creature was the most docile thing in the world. I pet his head and he closed his eyes, loving it just like a cat would. I think he had been left in the car for a little bit, and if he had come in about 10 minutes later, well... the outcome would have been different I'm sure. We got him under a heat lamp and I hope he'll be at the store for a little while.
My other job drives me nuts pretty often. Animals are so nice to come in to after a long day of that.
