A little back story...My first job was at a Shoney's restaurant around the 1996. You meet lots of different people working at a restaurant and take away many fond memories as well. Still being in high school as I worked for that puny check. Probably around $200 was still quite a bit of dough back in those days. I enjoyed the people more than the pay and remember many nights closing up while goofing off with fellow co-workers.
One of those co-workers was a girl that would hang out after her shift to do homework or whatnot. Some how, some way she talked me into going with her to get a tattoo. It was at another co-workers house because their son did some in-home ink work. I was mostly there to make sure she felt comfortable around the guy. I was 18 at the time but still asked my folks permission. They agreed and off we went to get some tattoos.
I call him Bob, isn't he adorable?! This baby was only $50. There used to be some yellow in there and brighter red but 20 years is rough on an amateur tat job. Needless to say the experience wasn't that pleasant. I finally opted to cover him up but will still cherish the memories of the journey.
Bye Bob!!
Stencil. Oh yeah, Hulk baby!!
Blacked out
Final Tat!!
Ten times better than what used to be there and can't wait for the healing process to be over. Will post healed pics in about a month a so. Will definitely be going back when there's some $$ to burn. By the way, it took two visits at around three hours each.
