So, I know no one reads this, but at least it will work as a memorandum device for myself (I have a HORRIBLE memory). Since my last blog: I worked a very successful and very secluded field season doing point-counts for a migratory bird survey. Two months alone in the wilderness, in some insanely beautiful country, hiking 5-10 miles and enjoying seclusion :) It's a tough job, but somebody's gotta do it eh?
After field work was done, the mad rush started to get things ready for my wedding... on August 17th, 2013 I married the most amazing little ginger I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Just to be a stereotype I'll add: I'm the luckiest guy ever! Our honeymoon was spent around Mount Rainier National Park and North Cascades National Park in Washington. It was pretty near perfect if I do say so myself. lol so yeah, that's the last 8 months in a nutshell, should anyone happen across this and take an interest.
A shot from the middle of one of my work days in July! Enjoy!
