Sunday Blogs!
Let's see. I have been feverishly working on adventures for the ConQuest NW coming up in FEB. Check out the RPG articles of my site to see the two back stories and a map for one. I am really getting into mapping and I think that may be worthy endeavor. I am not finding the time to do web design stuff.
Work is up in the air right now. No officially stamped project list, the big project is having "issues" we have two new Sr. Directors who are learning the organization, etc. Things seem really out of sorts right now. Oh, and my favorite work person EVAR Karla left. Friday was her last day. She is one of the coolest people on the planet. We are hemorrhaging cool people. Once you lose all your cool people you become a Zombie corporation with no soul. God please don't let True Blue become a Zombie corporation.
Obama one South Carolina!! For those who are geographically challenged, S.C is a state in the United States of America, in what we refer to as "The South". Yeah, it's a super awesome win for the Barack man, and I am so FIRED up about this guy. I have links all over my web site if you want to get educated on the next President of the United States of America. :-D
Now that interest rates are being slashed, I think my house loan (when I actually close it and get to move in) will be REALLY FUCKING LOW!! WOOOOOOT!! *ahem*, excuse that break down I just peed myself.
So, the local watering hole used to be Harbor Rock Caf. Then the jack ass who owns the place got some wild hair up his ass, closed it down for a week, shot red, white and blue paint all over the walls like 6 paint cumming donkeys had a gay wrestling match in the place, upped the prices, and changed the menu. It's now called Dynamite Jacks. The food is still good and if you get one of the hot ladies, the service is good (avoid the pervert looking bar tender with Weird Al's haircut; he is officially a douche bag and a moron). Still, it lost its sex appeal. Just not the same. Oh well, only a few more months here in quiet sunny DuPont. Which is sad really as well, because this little town kicks ass! If you can afford it, you should move here. It's just beautiful.
The current plot line in PVP is so awesome. It rules. I love PVP, it makes me laugh, it makes me cry. Once I get into the house, there will be some more PVP paraphernalia on the walls for sure.
This weekend I saw 23 (Jim Carrey was outstanding!), Blood and Chocolate (very original portrayal of Werewolves and the scenery was breath taking), She's the Man (very funny and well done), Eastern Promises (fucking awesome), and The Simpson's Movie (also, very funny). Yes. I was a total slack ass movie watcher. However, Saturday night I was totally inspired and made a kick ass map, so that made up for it.
The Savage World of Solomon Kane, a Savage Worlds licensed plot point campaign and roleplaying game based on the works of said title character by Robert E. Howard is phenomenal. The book is full color hard back, lavishly illustrated, and chock full of outstanding advice on how to run a game based on the works. I am enamored with the PEG (company who makes Savage Worlds) right now. I can't believe I overlooked this gem for all these years. This company is top notch in quality and fun. I need to write a review of this book.
Did I tell you that my Uncle is living with me? Yeah, he's a tad strange. I had one of those Luffa (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luffa) things with a suction cup you use to hang it on the shower wall. The suction cup died so I decide to hang it on the hook on my Uncle's shower organizer thing (hangs on the faucet). Come back the next day, the dude like tossed it out! It was gone! Freak. So I bought one of those corner organizer things with the spring loaded top, a new Luffa, new back Luffa, and "took back my corner". Now I don't have to fuck with suction cups and I keep my shit away from OCD lad.
That is all for this week. Tune in next week when yours truly should be a died-in-the-wool Virtual Certified Professional!! I take the test this week (wish me luck). :-D
