I had another long, hard day at the ringtone factory today. The cokehead VP of content asks me every month or so how the lucky charms jingle ringtone project is progressing; he asked me again today. I told him, like I always do, that I finished it a while ago and have sent him the file for General Mills to review a few times now. He says to go ahead and put it up, so I do. Then the VP of BizDev (a short, short-tempered Latin fellow) says "General Mills has to approve it first, why did you put it up for sale? Give me the file for General Mills to approve."
Then I had to edit a bunch of voicetones where the members of G-Unit say shit like "Yo Yo ya boy can't come to da phone cuz he in the booth bustin rhymes wit me, Tony Yayo!" Then I have to make a hot original beat to lay in there. The cokehead VP of content came up with the script one day when he was "working from home." I think he has been a cokehead since 1985 or so and has large sections of his brain eaten away. The ones that control wearing amber-tinted shades in the office and being a prick still work fine, though.
