I've been really lazy lately when it comes to my blog on here. I promised myself I'd make more of an effort and failed straight away. Ah, nevermind..
LIFE UPDATES!:
Most of my absence has been down to the fact I've been writing something else which has gone a lot better than I thought it would. Sounds weird to say/write this but.. I'm writing a sitcom. Not the most noble of arts, but a solid recognised form of writing at least. We're (we refers to myself and my writing partner/friend Kris) not amazingly far into it, but managed to get the first draft of the pilot out in 2 big writing sessions. Finishing it was one of the best climaxes I'd ever had.. Probably says a lot about me. We're going to go through a few more drafts and then we have a few people already interested in reading it, which is truly strange, but obviously very good.
After losing my job, my then girlfriend then took it upon herself to ditch my sorry arse. Awesome. But to be fair, I've really enjoyed being single and just being out there having fun with my friends and not having to look over my shoulder before I talk to a girl. If I'm 100% honest, I miss her a bit. We used to have such a good time together when we were alone, but it was a nightmare going out with her and that I do not miss at all.
Generally I've been of good body and mind. Managed to pick up a little job putting letters into sacks/boxes for 6 bucks an hour to fend off bills and the such. Boring as hell, but a job's a job. And I have found somewhere incredible to move to. Pretty darned cheap, but for what it is, it's practically criminal. A friend of mine is moving into a flat her Mum owns and is offering it to her for a fraction of the price it should be and I've been offered the other room. I HAVE TO TAKE IT! I just feel bad leaving my current flat mates in the lurch..
Also, everyone that actually reads this, go watch The Inbetweeners. It's ridiculously funny.
