got a pile of props for my SG long-sleeve tonight at the Hog's Trough in Manchester... speaking of which, the booking guy, Jayce, kicks serious ass - nice as hell, and the bands tonight were the shit. we played a pretty decent set, Labb was a nice Jimmy Eat World sort of band, very fucking tight, and nice guys, Session had a Sublime/311 thing going on, but a lot of dynamic, i appreciate that... and The Everyday Visuals... shit, they just plain rock, for all their pretentiousness - some of them anyway - they are probably the best thing happening to music in the state right now - if you get a chance, check them out, seroiusly seriously good - and say hi to the guitarist Kyle, the johnny greenwood-esque dude, very nice. it inspires me to play with such diverse and impressive bands... thank you Hog's Trough, as ridiculous as that may sound. oh, and Gracie, the waitress... hottie
