is money the most important thing in life?
what say ye SG people???
I've been involved in another forum where someone brought up a *chat* topic about the peace corp....
he is thinking about getting a job that sends him around the 3rd world. he hates being stuck in one place, wants to see some of the world outside the US, and would enjoy helping others.
some came back with some good info about themselves, family, and friends that have done this type of work before.
others butted in warning him not to throw his life away and waste what should be productive career building years.
annoying how everyone in america seems to attach success and happiness to your wallet. I've had a good job that pays well for over 6 yrs, and I am holding a screwdriver to my forehead. I need more out of life I think. What is the career I've built *really* worth???
