Wow... busy busy...
Was in midtown this week. 26th ST between 7th and 8th. I was helping tear down a press loft for work. PITA...
$50 grand they spent on the custom theater install on the place and 6 months later..... I'm cutting wires and ruining it all... sad... Oh well!!!
The loft was amazing! probably about $800 grand and I think we paid like $4800 a month for it. Wow...
I love New York though, it's always a great time. Co-worker and I went bar hopping on Wed looking for some fun. We ended up walking like 30 blocks back and forth trying to find a hoppin scene. but... alas... no luck. Everything was tourist or after work crowd.
I have a few friends that are either in the area, or used to be. I tried calling them to get some ideas of where to go. Unfortunately, I never think of that problem until AFTER I'm done with the work thing and the dinner thing... and then it's too late...
grrr......
Not a total loss though!
We ended up in an Irish pub hanging out with an Irish bartender and his Irish buddy that was thre visiting him for a couple weeks. Cool guys, and we got reeeeeeeeeal drunk...
Which was bad because I had to drive 4 hours home the next morning with a horrible hangover...
@ home in the office today as I'm trying desperately to catch up..... Sat is a Baltimore trip where I'll spend more money I don't have getting drunk with my friends....
Tuesday I'll be in Lancaster for work....
It just doesn't stop... Good thing I have an auto fishy feeder...
