I've got an idea - ROLLER COSTA. It's like a rollercoaster and a coffee shop combined.
g says:

Traumatron says:

I think engagement with the world, characters and storyline is half the appeal to be honest. I've found other RPGs soulless and overly technical - but then I like a bit of stimulus in my games other than just purely mental.
I enjoyed X but as far as the actual game side of it went, it was indeed pish. It was faaar too easy to level up and there weren't enough side quests to challenge you aside from the central narrative. As far as the series goes, it's probably the worst one to start with. The whole turn based battling was getting pretty tired as well. thankfully they've changed the battle system now so it's a whole lot more adaptable and dynamic. It's all in real time as well - no pissing about with going and making your dinner halfway through a battle then coming back to click 'attack'. From what I can gather, the world in this one is a lot more explorable than previous games in the series and there are enough sidequests to keep you going for 150-200 hours plus. For 30 all in, I don't think that's bad at all.I guess it's just a matter of taste when it comes down to it. I love it and I'll keep buying the new ones as they're released.
Have you and all your fellow manky goblins over at WoW spent the past few months bitching about it?
robots? if so i'm gonna get some robots and draw hoodies on them
