SETTING : Downtown LA Proper (Grand Ave/7th St)
PLOT : Merc sees possible woman he may grow to love
So after I left the library rooftop and went back home to arm myself at least, I set out to find Oboro. Why he's even still around or here is what gets me. I had to know who hired him, and I had no inkling who. This was troubling me. As I walk up Figueroa looking for a nearby car garage where I can get a ride out of town, I accidentally bump into someone and the both of us fall, I immediately take my time getting back to my feet,
"Motherfu..."
I look up and see this lady....I couldn't finish the phrase, I was awestruck by her. (ENTER :
Lizzi) She looked absolutely gorgeous, those tattoos of hers, her face, everything.
"Are you all right?
"Yes, I'm sorry. That was entirely my fault."
Honor forbid me to let her take the fall, so I pinned the blame on myself. I ask her if she was all right herself, and she said she was. I notice a cut on her leg, probably from falling down on the sidewalk.
"Let me look at that."
"No, it's ok, really
I put my hand over it, and in seconds, it healed, left no scar. She was amazed.
"How did you do that?"
"I wish I knew."
She thanked me and asked me my name.
"Anthony. Those who I work for call me Vidal, which is my last name."
"My name is Liz"
"Pleased to meet you, here's a phone number where you may reach me. If you wish, you can call me."
I turn right and I notice a familiar, a ruthless businessman who wanted to off his competitors. I had been looking for him for months prior to hearing about Oboro.
"I have an appointment that needs keeping, I'll see you later I hope."
I left her a rose and I left running. All I could think about was her. As if she had opened up something in my heart that had been closed for such a long time. I knew my job was going to be even more difficult knowing this girl would be in my thoughts constantly. Guess I should have seen it coming.
