Things that are odd:

I have a small Daruma doll.. It's like a little weeble version of Bodhidharma, patron saint of nothingness in Japan.. I bought the doll from Tokyo Rose, not that it matters.. Lately the doll wants to orient itself facing east.. I've had the doll for many years (Iva Toguri passed away in 2006) and it's only adopted this habit lately.. A friend was over recently and picked up the doll and placed it on my window.. Within a day or two it had again oriented itself to the east.. There is a koan in here somewhere..
