I called my best friend from high school up the other day. I've been trying to stay in contact with him (he's actually the only one of the crew I could find anymore) even though life has taken its toll on the both of us. I was hoping I could hang out for a while after I finish my business down in Columbus. Hey, I was in the area, might as well drop in, right?
I _might_ be able to pull it off this time, however, it probably will be our last. He's moving to Charlotte late August. He'd talked about doing something like this in years prior, so it's not a shock to me, but still it's another milestone in the passage of time.
You don't notice how much your life has changed you until you're neck deep in it. Unfortunately, I can do nothing to stop it, but that's not to say I can't reminisce. I will of course, fondly, but those days are gone.
After two weeks from now, I sincerely doubt (aside from actually moving to North Carolina) I will see him in person again. Maybe a random phone call, but we get waaaay to wrapped up in our jobs to remember people who are hundreds of miles away.
At least he's doing what he enjoys. We all have to make difficult decisions regarding what we want to do with ourselves and this is one of them.
I wish him the best of luck.

The upside is you get to hang out with him one last time. Riminsce and make more memorable memories for the two of you. Take care and enjoy yourself son. Tiff

I justed ended up adding more to that entry... hehehe But it's sad isn't it? I have no friends anymore. I'm trying to make some on here that live near me but it's kind of scary. Meeting people from the internet in person. Plus I'm always so shy I just seem like I'm bored. That's the unfortunate thing. Aww well! Take care, Tiff
