Darkness we call Life
Lets drown in the darkness that is life
As I sink into the water
I think was it all worth it
Lets lay here together in the water
Where no one can find us and think what life would be without us
Would they be sad?
Would they be happy?
Or would they even notice we were gone
The further we sink the more I see
The more you consume me and I consume you and the more the darkness consumes us both
You tell me lies that make me think we will be free
You tell me what you think I want to hear
You show me the path that you think I know
You tell me this way to true happiness
But happiness for who
For you
Or for me
Something catches me and I scream
But in the darkness no one hears you
As I look around me the blood is everywhere
I see spots and faces and the people I thought cared
But they were never real
They were just something I made up to make me feel whole
But all they did was make me feel worse and alone
You tell me love is like this drug
That you can't resist
You tell me to trust you cause you know best
You tell me don't worry ill always be their for you
You tell me love was just a game I played to make you believe me
In a world full of fragile things I'm the only one that survived this apocalypse we call life
