And so the Festivities are almost upon us, my neighbours have an annoying light display (well they've randomly put lights up and switched them all on at once - no Wizards in Winter here) and I'm even starting to listen to 'Hoilday' music. Okay that's what's it seems to be known as in The US. In the UK Holiday music means crap songs sung on bus trips to Spain in July (Viva Espana etc) but I'll go with the US term for his blog. And by Holiday music I mean the BareNaked Ladies Festive songs CD that covers both Hanukkah and that Christian celebration that happens this time of year (and hijacks Yuletide - why aren't there any cards with Yuletide Wishes on?).
In other news I'm busy writing again. I'm blogging on both WordPress and Blogger (one about my screenplay the other simply random crap) but mainly on my scripts - it's nice being creative for myself again. I've been so busy writing and directing commercial stuff at work I have forgotten the enjoyment of working on my own ideas.
And for the day after Festivus (24th) I may be DJing in the evening, I think I'll start with some Vince Guaraldi on Vinyl and then go into some fun party music - maybe some sing-a-long stuff like Bowie, The Who, Mott the Hoople and even Betty Boo!
