Okay, I'll be the first to admit it - I'm not good at blogging. I guess I feel there's not much to say about my life that others need to read about, and in some cases that's how it should be - some blogs are rediculously mundane... (and once I start shooting a film then perhaps my blogs will be worth reading).
But here's some mundane me stuff to start with if you like that kind of thing -
I've got a 'new' washing machine (new to me but is about 1 year old and hardly used)
I've ordered a new Sofa (thanks to a loan from my Mum - having got rid of my credit cards means large purchases aren't as easy these days, mainly as I'm crap at saving)
I've picked up some CDs I've only had on MiniDisc or copies, and it's nice to feel you actually own copies for reall this time (they are Ween - Chocolate and Cheese, Quebec and 20 Country Greats + RATM - Battle for LA and Renegades - in case you were wondering)
My Dad makes a damn good Bolognase, as witnessed Saturday PM
And in other news...
This month I'm only buying DVDs at 2 or less (about $4) seeing as last months bid to buy them at 3 went well and I've now found an outlet where you can get them even cheaper.
Okay you don't get up to date titles (3 was Team America & Beavis and Butthead do America SE) but for 2 each I got Nine Queens and American Splendor - yay for cheap DVDS in bargain bins.
My iPod doesn't look too bad when played through my projector, in fact some of the clips I put on there look very watchable and so Video Podcasts and movie trailers no longer need to be watched on my PC screen with this old PC chugging away and stuttering the video feed as it's not that good at video.
It's officially hot in the UK after so much wet, miserable weather. But as we're shooting Xmas stuff at work, then perhaps a little less sun would be best - but I'm not complaining, even if when doing the summery stuff the otehr month we had crap weather. I'm happier having some good weather for now as we've not had any all year.
And I'd be even hapier if I was enjoying good weather in another country - San Francisco being my first choice of course (as ever, I'm so predictable).
But, I hear you cry, what about soemthing really interesting to say - Hhmm, gosh, I've not really got much to say at all. Perhaps next time after the V festival headlined by the Foos, Killers and Kasabian. (Only 11 days until we set off with our new tent to camp for 3 days and listen to almost non stop live music. And I hate camping, but I'm sure it'll be worth it. I may even try and take some photos too).
Keep Smiling,
Matt.
