So, I've just been laughing rather hard at "Extras", especially as a friend was in it.
Again Ricky Gervais delivers a remarkable series that is laugh out loud funny, poignant and quite spot on with its criticism of various aspects of life and the media.
I still can't believe he's having a go at the BBC like that and getting them to broadcast it.
And as per the last few Blogs, I'm happy to be writing again. Not only on my screenplay, but a sketch show too. And that's with a friend or two as we all have a few ideas for quite an original way of presenting a sketch show, and one that could be made easily. All we need now is to approach some people and see what they think - though I think a few sketches will appear on YouTube (or similar) so watch this space. (Nice working for a TV company with many talented friends and a range of good quality kit at your finger tips).
And, if anyone reads this, can you recommend 3 tracks that you feel would have gone well on the sound track to Garden State but Zach Braff missed them off for whatever reason. (Basically I'm looking for some new music to listen to when writing and my current stack of CDs has a bit of a Garden State feel to them - Thea Gilmore, Hang Ups, I Monster, Nouvelle Vague)
Take care you guys,
M.
