Hello Dirty Birdies!
I've missed you all! I really hope you all are doing well! Me...Well I'm doing quite well, in fact I am better than I have been in a long time! Last time we chatted I explained about my depression and how I was trying to kick it in the ass. Well I have been working out non stop and feeding myself better things which has definitely helped :) ! I am down 6lbs and only have 4lbs to go before I reach my pre drinking weight. I've also been alcohol free for 3 months. My cleanse of no drinking for 90 days is "officially" over but I've decided to continue being sober for now. If I go out with friends and want a cocktail now and then it will be like a treat. I just don't want it to be a daily occurrence again. I am feeling great being fit again and honestly cutting out certain things had made my body feel the best it has in ages!
Change of topic...It's Spring here in Portland! The flowers are blossoming and birds are chirping! The sun has most definitely been missed here. I have spent almost every sunny day hiking. I have big Spring plans of hikes and outdoor activities. I am so excited! I'm working on enjoying my life more instead of being caught up in work mode. It's been a tough habit to break but I think I'm starting to get the hang of it! I am really enjoying it! In fact later today @metalmohawk and I have a hike planned. I cannot wait!

I really love this shot by photographer Casey Grant... I cannot wait to start shooting again this summer! Just getting back into shape before hand! I've been working 3-5 days a week and hitting the gym 3-5 days a week as well! I'm also trying to do yoga 20 minutes everyday. I feel much more calm... it may be the yoga or the fact that I no longer drink coffee. I miss coffee but it was upsetting my tummy too much. I pretty much have been put on a forced diet by my body. But I will tell you it feels good not to be sick after everything I eat and drink.
In between work I will continue enjoying the sun as long as it graces Portland. I hope to have many amazing adventures to share with you in the upcoming months.
