The first term of law school seemed to go well, even though there are no grades back yet. I found the classes to be interesting along with my black sense of humor getting even darker. One thing that I noticed is that I was not stressing much over finals, since I felt I had a good grasp of the information. (My strengths play out better in the long run.) Plus, my stress/intimidation level has been altered from proficiently working in professional kitchens, so I was not stressing out as many of my classmates were doing.
I had a pleasant time over break but studied less than I was hoping to. I finally got to play Twilight Imperium, which is a wonderful, in-depth board game that can take quite a long time to finish; anyone (nearby) interested? I will admit that I did have to "bribe" the TI players with cooked food, which they enjoyed despite being full from other holiday activities. I also got to cook a bit more than I expected, which, I admit, was a nice change of pace from studying. Quite a lot of roasts; I was hoping to do some baking but that fell through.
Other than that, the second term has already begun, and I was surprisingly excited about classes started, which has been a first from what I recall.
