I've completed my move to GR a while ago and have been getting to know the area quite a bit. I thought that I would have a difficult time riding a bike in a town that is not used to them, but I am actually more worried about walking on the sidewalk as I have already almost been hit twice by a car, while I am still in the clear with bike riding. However, I am wearing my helmet much more often.

There are just a bit over two weeks left until classes start, and I have already gotten most of my books and am setting up my macbook to get that ready. I doubt this shows anything about my study habits, since I am updating an old blog instead of studying; I've already looked on the Cooley Portal and have completed most of those items.

The farmers market here is quite nice with a very good variety of food. I saw Neko Case perform when she came through GR. Plus, I've located some comfortable places to chat, read, relax, and study. There are quite a few museums and such, but since the weather has been so nice up here I have been staying towards outdoor activities. I went back home for about a week and have a fun time visiting family & friends, but I was ready to get back to GR and get more acclimated.
