Who has seen the movie, "The Machinist"? I watched it this morning at 3 AM with no pre-conceived notion of what it may be about and I may have now added a new favorite movie to my list, it is delightfully creepy, one of those movies that has the rare quality of effecting me as a good book would-I can't wait to see what happens next, I'm surprised, I'm appalled, and even in my appalled state I'm delighted with the outcome. Very surreal, interesting, and when I went home I even found myself a tad creeped out, even allowing myself to think, "I don't remember leaving that book right there..."knowing that it was just my mind playing tricks on me and enjoying it for that. Then this morning I had a dream that my cousin Keith beat someone with a hammer and ran away-a hit-and-run-if you've seen the movie you'll understand.
Last night this boy told me that Kurt Vonnegut has this idea that one should always except invitations, strange or whatever, always go because you never know what will happen, and I really like this idea, it inspires me to think of strange adventures to invite people on and be spontaneous, I love being spontaneous but why does it seem that others are never spontaneous, I miss that, is that something people grow out of? I need silly, exciting adventures to embark on, I thrive on that stuff.
He is unreasonably sexy. And I say that because unreasonably and sexy are two words that sound so strange together.
The other morning I opened my window and said aloud to myself (and my cats), "Well, it's fall"
I love this weather, I want to spend an afternoon smoking and going to the park, swing and lay in the grass and just be outside and wear a hoodie and feel comfy, lets go kids.
Nada Surfs new cd-the weight is a gift. I like that.
