What a fun weekend! One of those weekends where every night turns out differently than you expected, but very much in a good way.
Friday was black rasberry margeritas at Marias, and jokes with Kerri, dancing with Kathdar, singing, and pabst, staying up until the wee wee hours and all sorts of silliness, Kath and Jimi walking me home so drunk and finding joy in trying to walk on the curb and finding magic pencils on the ground and Katherine saying, "I love your cats, they're such man cats" and I wasn't there for it, but I hear Kerri ran through sprinklers at 4 AM and I find this amusing.
Saturday, Kerri came to pick her car up at my house at 9 in the evening (yes, it took her all day to recover), and we decided to chat, I like this new chatting thing we've been doing, she's such a girly girl, her, JP and I headed to the Outland and somehow JP ended up working. The night started out as one of those nights that was supposed to be simple, not too much drinking, just to sit and talk and have a beer, but somehow we end up at the mudlounge and lisa is with us and before I know it the whole night is all bright lights and laughter and good stuff, somehow later we ended up walking through an alley and an ambulance turned it's siren on right outside the alley and there was something about that sound that made it resonate off of the walls and made Kerri and I in our altered state think that the world was ending, I swear we almost threw our bodies to the dirty ground, we ended up catching a ride back to my apartment, which we probably didn't need in all actuality, but how often do you really get to try to fit seven people into a civic, which once again makes me feel like I am young and I sat on the lap of a boy I barely know (other than that he likes western shirts) and this made it all the sillier and more fun. Kerri and I talked until late when Jared and Jessi and JP showed up and we all tried to find a party that I don't think ever really existed.
Sunday was some blue drink that made me dream about vampires. scary wretched things that they are.
Yesterday I splurged and bought the SG DVD, oh those ladies are lovely it's good stuff.
I also bought this:
well, something very similar, it has more lace trim around the nice slit on the leg, and it's also a nice soft purple, it's beautiful, and I wanted it just because I think I deserve to have pretty things no matter what, and it makes me happy.
Don't worry kids, I'm not a complete lush, it was just one of those weekends, but I think I needed that. But I also thought about this:
"They won't understand,
and we won't remember,
but we will never be sad again-never sad again!-
or rather, never sad in the same way."-Hoagland
and I think I'm the better for it.
love and such

Springfield and it's wonderful non-existant parties. Ha Ha! Searching for a party sometimes turns out to be more fun than the party itself.
You sure the dream about vampires was really a dream? Didn't you see The Lost Boys?!?! Watch out!
sometimes you need a drunken weekend.
