I had a great Saturday night, my friend JP cooked me his awesome meatloaf (I've been hearing about this stuff for years, everyone who has tryed it raves about it) and it definitly held up to all the hype, made me happy to eat real food because I eat too much crap and microwavable stuff because I don't know how to cook (anyone want to teach me??) Then I went and saw Batman, it was really good, or at least I thought it was, I've always loved Batman but the last ones they made were so terrible so I was pleasantly surprised. Strange though, is the thing to do now for high schoolers to be go to a movie and move all around to talk to different friends? Because that was what all the high schoolers there were doing, it was weird, they would go sit with some friends and talk and then get up and move to other friends and talk and I'm thinking "you're at a fucking movie that you payed 8 bucks for, watch the movie!!"
what is weird is that I had the choice to go out to a bar last night or go see batman and I chose going to the movie, I don't know why but lately I have no desire to go out really, at least not here, there is never any good shows and it is always the same thing when I go downtown, I see the same people, my friends get drunk and we stand around with our beers and talk about the same stupid shit...I don't know, I used to like to go out a lot and everyone told me I would go through this not wanting to go out getting bored with it thing and I guess they were right. Maybe I'm growing up, ha. Or maybe it is just Springfield, which I could make a strong argument for that.

No, it's not just Springfield. It's the fact that idiots reign at the bars and no one wants to constantly be around that drivel. Those children paid $8 to see a movie and then spend all night theater hoppin' and talkin' with their friends and generally pissin' us old folks off. (I guess I hated that shit even when I was in high school. I just have never "gotten" the people thing.) Can't wait to see Batman though.
