Today my cat was in my open bathroom window and as I went to pet him I realized that it was pouring outside, on a bright sunny day. I love this, a summer rain, the sting of the rain on the asphalt, the smell, the way the world doesn't stop, just moves in slow motion a little bit, how it seems everyone outside looks up, smiles, feels the rain and the warmth on their face.

I am off to the wonderful city of Austin Texas tommorrow in the wee early hours of the morning. I will be back in a week with reports of all sorts of adventures. I swear this trip should have a disclaimer on it, it is going to be so much fun. I hope eveyone has a wonderful week!
