Hey everyone, I haven't been around for a couple of days so I thought I would write a real one, so sit back, relax, enjoy, ha. I'm feeling rather nostaligic too.
I started my new job this week at the computer lab and after spending countless mind-numbing hours browsing through different blogging sites (yes, extreme boredom) I have concluded that the best people on the internet are right here on SuicideGirls. Yay.
I wanted to try to do a photo journal, but when I put the big pictures on here it is too big, once again the computer is frustrating me, so if you want to see a bigger image they are in my photo album.
My friend Katherine and I. One of the few girls I am really close to. We are very likeminded even though we can be quite different. Katherine is silly, and we can have really intense conversations but she also sees nothing wrong with silence and doesn't see it as "awkward". She has an apprciation for a great pair of red trousers and when we go on road trip she made up a game to play: when we pass a cow (a lot in Missouri) we must roll the window down and moo at the cow, if the cow moos back, we win, if it doesn't moo back, the cow wins. This is an especially fun game for me because coincidentally my first word, ever, was "moo cow". We have decided that we must be kismet. Someday I will tell the story about the first time we ever really did something together and took an adventure to Kansas City to see Flogging Molly and all the strange things that happened during this trip and how everything came together and we decided that we were kismet this day because everything just fell into place too well.
My friend JP's dog Artimus and I. No, we're not really kissy kissy, just looks like it. This dog is my baby, she's half great dane and half pitbull, I have been there since the day they brought her home and I see her almost every day. I have a tendency to "adopt" my friends pets because I love animals.
My other "adopted" pet is a big, black bastard in Kansas City. Back in the day (a year ago) when the boy used to live literally 200 feet away from me instead of 2 1/2 hours away from me I would stay at his house quite often, and in the early morning hours I would sneak out while he was still sleeping, shut the bedroom door behind me, and sit by his dog on the couch for a moment. That dog is a beautiful dog with big floppy ears and white on his toes, he would curl himself into me and look up at me with those big doggy eyes as if to say, "this is our little secret", I swear sometimes I thought that dog understood me more than the boy did.
My cat Tobey and his catnip sac, I'm much more of a dog person but somehow I ended up with two cats, but luckily I have taught them both to be very non-catlike so it all worked out in the end. Their evil kitty traits have been erased, kind of.
I always feel like pictures tell a lot about a person, so maybe you have a little more insight into who I am.

Also, the weekend following that show, is the Sounds of the Underground Tour in Tulsa, OK. That's July 10th. Buncha hardcore bands, Madball is supposed to play. I can't wait to see them again.
