This past weekend was a lot of fun, Kerri and I went to Art Walk on Friday and had many martinis at the Mud Lounge and people watched, I don't know, it was Bizarro night at the Mud Lounge or something because everyone was just crazy. Later we ended up over at our friend Zack's house and were later joined by a friend of his, I must say, somehow it turned into this really crazy night-lets just say that it involved a lot of alcohol and two gay men, I'll leave the rest up to your imagination.
ok, not really, somehow the four of us ended up dancing like crazy for three straight hours, we had all the windows and doors open in the house and the stereo up super loud and we were drinking wine and it turned into DANCE PARTY 2005 or something, I know, it sounds really stupid, but it was one of the funnest nights I have ever had, I never knew I could have so much fun with gay men, but the fact that we could all just have fun and there was no weird tension between anyone and we could all just go crazy and be silly was nice, later we went outside to get some air and realized that the music was so loud you could probably hear it halfway down the block, this was at about 5 in the morning so we decided that the dance party was done for the night, I think it would have been funny if the cops showed up expecting some huge party and there were the four of us with our wine bottles dancing to the Scissor Sisters, yeah.
This weekend is going to be amazing, JP and I are going to go up to KC on Friday to see the Street Dogs, which is something I had planned for a month, but the best part of the whole weekend is the following: a couple of days ago we were listening to Sick of it All and I said, "I have to see them, they are one of those bands I have to see before I die and every time they have come through Missouri I miss them" and JP said, "why don't you get online and see when they are going on tour?" so I got online and oh my gosh, they are playing on Saturday in St. Louis, what luck! was it fate? I like to think so. It is going to be a crazy, Missouri road trip, good show weekend. Up to KC on Friday for Street Dogs, over to St. Louis on Saturday for SICK OF IT ALL FROM NEW YORK CITY! and back to Springfield on Sunday (boo) I can't wait, I'm sure many stories to come.
