Why is it that we as a nation have decided that nearly every indie coffee shop, and some more corporate ones too, have to have ridiculous names based on coffee puns? "Black and Brew" "Brew-ha-ha" "The Last Drop" "The Coffee Beanery" just to name a few. I mean don't get me wrong, I love puns as much as the next guy, but it's like every damn shop has these names.
Conversely, why is it that we as a nation have also decided that law firms don't need names, other than the last names of some dudes... and it's usually 3 dudes, "Krasno Krasno and Odwindinjo" "Wiseman Berstein and Johnson." I mean is there some law that says law firms can't have actual names, like, I dunno... Lawyers are us, or Ambulance Chaser Inc. I don't know, those are pretty terrible, but you get my point. Every other establishment has an actual name, even hospitals and school... except law firms, why is that?
