This week: re-read Robert Holdstock's "Lavondyss," second and (in my opinion) best book in the "Mythago Woods" cycle. In the first book, the "myth" was exposed, somehow, lenghtier than necessary... this one keeps a perfect balance between mythic aspects, action and emotion... or so I felt. And it's also a book dealing cleverly about how a teenager builds her own self, and learns where and what she belongs to... Any other Mythago fans here?
(talking cryptically like fans do is so fun...)
