in my mid teens i moved with my family from the core of the city to the burbs. the burbs offered me none of the culture and sleaze my young mind sought. i used to skip school once a week and spend the day downtown perusing comic shops, record shops, head shops, used book shops and any other dingy haunts i could find. i found this book in a little shop off queen street called duncan books, they had a good selection of odd erotica and dodgy porn and didn't ask questions about age. i was about 16. i learned my sexual education through books until i went to uni and met willing partners. books smarts aren't life smarts, but it doesn't hurt to have an idea haha!
