Woo hoo!
i just bought tickets to a RAD band that is coming back to our lovely city in march....the decemberists! I am extremely excited to see them again, i love everything about them, and seeing them live is going to be an immense treat for me.
so i'm finally out of training...didn't learn anything earth shattering, but i do feel a bit more refined in how i will approach things. hopefully some of my sharper edges will feel softer to my peeps. i think most of them view me as a softie anyway, but thise are the ones that i don't have to light a fire underneath to get them to do their basic job description. a lot of times it's frustrating when your results don't stem from just YOUR personal efforts...wheedling, cajoling, begging, pleading, threatening...it all produces much slower results compared to when you just do it yourself! i guess that's my innner OCD control freak grandstanding again.
lot's of things brewing around here...going to Seattle in a week from today for a week!! overcast drizzly days here i come! anyone know of anything a bit unusual and fun to do in that area?
p.s. thanks for all the valentine's day lurve, especially you Sugarmama

Seriously, no. The waterfront area reminds me of a very mini san francisco... lots of shopping and restaurants. and indie music. pick up a local guide. the local scene has always been good when i've been there.
my shoes belong in the closet., my shoes belong in the closet. my shoes belong in the closet....why did they not all magiclly move into the closet..
