On Sunday (Feb 3rd) I celebrated THREE years since I went pink (based on the day I got the email, my actual set hit the front page Feb 20th). I took the opportunity to be a little sappy on instagram, but kept it short and sweet, and decided that it was only fitting that I would come here and show my appreciation for the site that has given me so much.
I'm sure a lot of people are going to be surprised to hear that I've only been pink for 3 years, as I've been apart of the community for closer to 6. I've been very fortunate to be super involved since the very beginning. I was so desperate (in the nicest way possible) to be a part of this community that I threw myself into as many opportunities as I could; regularly contributing to forums, live-streaming on the hopeful periscope, promoting the shows, and more.
I made friends with photographers like @sunshine which led to tour jobs; at first as her assistant, and later running the Merch booth. I lived on a bus with a group of girls that felt like family, and toured the country (3 times!) with the most badass girls club, entertaining and meeting crowds from city to city.
I've had the chance to work San Diego Comic Con multiple years in a row, and meet some of the best "nerds" in the world. I've stayed at SGHQ with babes from all walks of life. I've traveled to new cities (& countries) and met even more babes! There's been pictures, and videos, and autographs. This life has been full!
Thank you to the members for the continued love and support, I hope this journey has been as fun for you as it has been for me.
