I know, I know....this took me a hot minute. Honestly since running around on tour I've been running around at home. BUT I'm finally sitting my happy ass down to do this so thanks for being so patient! Okay, so let's get started...
If you weren't already aware; in June I went on tour with the beautiful ladies of the @blackheartburlesque for two weeks. Joining them in Sauget, IL I hopped on the bus for the last leg of travel as we hit what I like to call "Middle America" (WI, MT, ND, WY, etc). Let me tell you guys....those girls WORK HARD! Every show day is a well oiled machine; with scheduled brunch, set up, practice, showtime, and break down. I honestly wasn't prepared for how much work it was going to be. Luckily the only option is to jump immediately into it and get into the groove....and get into it fast. As tour assistant my jobs included scheduling meals, grocery shopping, unloading merch/props, setting up the booth, ordering/picking up dinner, selling merch, clearing the stage between, acts, loading the bus back up after the shows, and really offering to help anyone who needed a hand. Like I said...these girls work hard! I fell into the role pretty quickly (I think) and really enjoyed my time with them. Sleeping on a tour bus was a completely new experience for me, but I soon found it cozy and comforting falling asleep to the vibrations of the bus driving to our next destination.
I was able to explore new cities and states I've never been to, and even got to see Mount Rushmore! It was really fun to see all the behind the scenes of the show and get to know all the girls a little better. Everyone always wants to know the bus "dirt/drama" but I can honestly say in the 2 weeks I was there I saw nothing! They are so supportive and kind to each other, and completely chill. It really is a little tour family.
Also @missy came and joined us for our days in Chicago! Not only did she attend our show that night but she stayed for our following day off while we explored Chicago with our wonderful tour sponsors @myfreecams . It's always such a treat to see her and I'm really glad I was able to spend some time with her <3
And on top of all of that I was able to meet some really awesome members of SG! You guys have NO IDEA how much it means to us when you not only come out and support our shows, but come and talk to us! Seriously! Every time someone said "hey torie" or "I follow you online" it completely blew my mind. It's such an awesome and rewarding feeling. The members are what makes SG such a special place and I'm still in awe anytime someone thinks I'm interesting enough to follow. So if you said hello and got a picture or whatever, know that you really made my day!
I posted a few vlogs on my youtube if you'd like to see this all go down in video version!

I have SO many pictures to share so I'm going to spread them out over a few posts (similar to my SDCC blogs from last year). So to start I'll share all of my "tour family" pictures first meaning us gals getting brunch, preparing for shows, days off, etc...
I once again want to tell these ladies how grateful I am for the experience. They completely welcomed me with open arms and were nothing but sweet and caring. Although, I already admired them so much I can now say that I truly appreciate their friendship and dedication to putting on such a kick ass show for you guys. I'm really trying not to be too sappy, but forreal they are the fucking tits. I CANNOT wait to see them at the San Diego show later this month! k, I'll shut up now.
