blah blah blah. i really have nothing to say. well no. i have lots to say, i just can't say it. my thoughts are bouncing about in my head, pogoing to the tune of some kind of cross between the theme from jeopardy and the safety dance. they simply refuse to form a single file line and evacuate my head.
that said. i've had a most amazing weekend.
i went lesbian barhopping on friday with the witching. they're a bunch of really cool girls. they played at meow mix. and after that we went to some awful hole in the wall bar playing horrible club music. my friend got completely trashed, and upon arriving at my house proceeded to get into a violent fight with my dustpan.
i met my friend's mother on saturday. the same friend who got into a fight with my dustpan. she was an absolutely magical woman with great energy and an amazing presence. she bought us dinner at red bamboo. i thik that might just be my favorite restaurant in nyc. or at least one of them. after that we stopped in at ace bar for a drink, before leaving to go watch headbangers ball. i got the chance to have some amazing conversations with people on art, music, history, culture, philosophy and everything else. it was fucking amazing. i really have respect for people who can drink a beer and still be able to speak intelligently and passionately on one subject or another.
in other news. i've bullied my friends into playing a show for my birthday in september. i've also told them that they'll be covering she bop by cyndi lauper. mmmmmm. cyndi lauper. she bop. yay. that and it'll be great to see a hardcore version there of.
oh. and i dug up my old band's demo cd. it's funny. really. i want to find a new band to play for. i'll play guitar. or hop around and screm. either or.
regardless. here's wishing the best for most of you, and a fierce kick to the teeth for the rest of you.
love and violence (it's all the same really),
