So the garage sale didn't go as well as I though it would--I knew I should've gotten in on it yesterday!
I'm surprised that no one bought the 4' platform hoochie shooes I had for sale. They're in excellent condition. I had carefully set them out on the sidewalk, hoping that the women passing by would imagine how great their legs would look in them, and offer me a cool $5 for 'em, but no cigar. Those shoes were the ones I would wear when I was 19/20, and would try to sneak into bars because I thought they made me look "older" somehow. I now realize that I just looked like some underaged college chick trying (very hard) to sneak into a bar...ha!
One lady did manage to buy a lot of my old Hello Kitty stuff off of me. I'm not sure if it was a good idea to sell that--I'm already starting to miss my Hello Kitty coin purse.
Thank goodness I checked the HK wallet before puttin' that puppy on display--as a scanned copy of my social security card was in it!
Whew!
Ah, and my parents are borrowing my car for 6 weeks. I'm lovin' it already!
It's such a chore to constantly move it around, evade the damn street cleaning, and worry about it getting stolen/broken into. Hell, they can keep it.
